Jessica L. Simpson lived in Southern Maryland the majority of her childhood and enjoyed spending time with nature, which is where her spiritual journey began. In May 2010, Jessica graduated from the University of Maryland College Park, with a Bachelor of Science in General Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health. Driven by social justice, she attended the University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences in August 2011, where she presented a practicum regarding pharmacogenetics and health promotion in the hospital setting. In May 2013, Jessica earned a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Health Management and Health Behavior. Upon graduation, she began working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a Public Health Scientist in epidemiology and surveillance. She worked at CDC for five years. Currently, Jessica is in medical school.
Jessica strives to keep her spirit and personality aligned in order to live her best life. She does this, by maintaining wellness in mind, body, and spirit. Jessica believes that her purpose in life is to help others. Thus, she is elated to share her knowledge gained through education and life experiences to help other people live their best life, by living well.
